Wastewater Operator
As the wastewater operator for your plant, you’re responsible for treatment chemicals, equipment maintenance, equipment inspection, and mandatory reporting for the plant’s wastewater treatment system. Without exception, you perform daily walk-throughs to check the pumps, clarifiers, and machinery to make sure it’s functioning properly. In addition, you sample and test the wastewater to make sure they’re removing the pollutants before it’s discharged. Clearly, this is a lot of responsibility.
